The ICOM VIDEO CHALLENGE

•In an ever changing world, there is a need for science communication.  Thus, we issue the ICOM VIDEO Challenge.  The challenge is to make a video that relates something to do with membranes to the general public.  The video should be 3 minutes long and must contain a Youtube Link.  The final video will be due June 1 and the winners will be announced by July 1.  The winners will receive $500 for first place, $250 for second place, and $100 for third place.  Winners and possibly other videos will be displayed prominently at the ICOM conference and\or the NAMS website throughout 2026 and 2027. 

‍ ‍•To qualify please, by June 1, send a Youtube link of the video to jhesteki@uark.edu.  This application should have ICOM VIDEO CHALLENGE  in the subject line and must also have the name of each entrant (if more than 1) as well as affiliation, address, etc.  If this is a funded research project please make a statement in the email “The research advisor of this project has seen and approves of this video”.  All students, including K-12, undergraduates, and graduates, are welcome to apply to please feel free to circulate this announcement widely.
